Elden Ring has some of the hardest challenges for any gamer to indulge in. However, it doesn’t just leave you there to get bullied until you rage quit. In fact, it gives you some incredibly powerful weapons to give you more ways to survive the Lands Between. Even so, there are some weapons that are just so strong that even the toughest bosses stand no chance! Here’s a list of the ten most overpowered weapons in Elden Ring.

  1. Starscourge Greatswords – Colossal Weapon
    The Starscourge Greatswords are the best Colossal Weapon in the game.
    If you dual wield this weapon, the player pulls out two swords. It scales incredibly well with high intelligence, dexterity and strength, and can stagger even the toughest of foes. This weapon comes with one of the best unique skills, Starcaller Cry.
    If you’re brave enough to put down Radahn, then you might just pull one of the best weapons in Elden Ring!
  2. Bloodhound’s Fang – Curved Greatsword
    You get this for killing the Bloodhound Knight Evergaol, and it’s a defining early-game weapon.
    Bloodhound’s Fang has a unique skill known as Bloodhound’s Finesse. This can help you evade attacks while dealing lots of damage. It’s one of the best weapons for a primarily strength and dexterity build.
    If you’re feeling good, then imbue your weapon with blood flame and deal blood loss like never before.
  3. Icerind Hatchet – Axe
    The Icerind Hatchet is a speed runner’s delight.
    This is the main weapon that most Elden Ring speed runners choose to use. It’s unique weapon skill, Hoarfrost Stomp can genuinely be a gamer changer. You can find this weapon in Liurnia of the Lakes and it scales quite well with Strength and Dexterity.
    The Icerind Hatchet’s ability to inflict frost can be a detrimental affinity to your opponents.
  4. Hand of Malenia – Katana
    Hand of Malenia turns you into Malenia, and that in itself should be completely overpowered.
    If you’re looking to cause a ton of damage, the Hand of Malenia gives you the Waterfowl Dance unique skill to decimate small crowds within seconds. It also scales quite well with dexterity and strength.
    Though as powerful as this weapon is, you need to get through Malenia to get it. That makes it one of the hardest weapons to acquire in Elden Ring.
  5. Reduvia – Dagger
    If you’re lucky enough to head into the Siofra River Depths, then you’ll find this on a little boss named the Dragonkin Soldier.
    Reduvia is the king of daggers, inflicting blood loss and giving you room to breathe unlike any other weapon in the game. Its unique weapon skill is Reduvia Blood Blade, and it lets you throw shards of blood loss at enemies.
    It builds blood loss quite heavily, and can be quite influential in fighting a ton of bosses!

  1. Sword of Night and Flame – Straight Sword
    If you’re curious enough and stumble onto the Sword of Night and Flame, your game is essentially easy mode now.
    This weapon gives you both fire and magic damage. It scales with not just intelligence and dexterity, but also faith and strength. If you get it to +10, it will be a one shot kill on most bosses.
    This weapon isn’t even fair in most cases, and can genuinely destroy single enemies and bosses.
  2. Sacred Relic Sword – Greatsword
    If you’re looking for a weapon that does crowd control unlike anything else, then look no further than the Sacred Relic Greatsword.
    This weapon is what you get for defeating the Elden Beast. Rightfully so, it’s one of the most powerful weapons in the game. It’s so overpowered that it is the only weapon you need to farm runes in Elden Ring. It’s unique skill; Wave of Gold will shred crowds of enemies within mere moments.
    It’s a tough weapon to acquire. However, it’s one of the most important weapons to have if you’re looking to level up to 713.
  3. Rivers of Blood – Katana
    The Rivers of Blood Katana is the bane of every PvP players’ existence.
    This is the main weapon you’ll be using if you’re doing PvP, and if you’re in PvE, this sword will be genuinely game-breaking. You get this in the Mountain Top of the Giants near a church after an invasion. Rivers of Blood’s unique skill Corpse Piler lets you do multiple slashes in quick succession, building up blood loss for a huge chunk of the enemy’s health.
    It’s a must have weapon for any character build but it works extra well if you’re scaling it with Arcane.
  4. The Blasphemous Blade – Greatsword
    Praetor Rykard’s Sword made completely out of crippling nausea and disgust.
    This weapon is a fantastic addition to any build, and can genuinely burn your enemies to death. Its unique skill known as Taker’s Flames can stagger, damage and destroy the opposition. It’s extremely good at handling crowds and enemies that seem too tanky.
    If you’ve got the Blasphemous Blade, you’re good to wage war on the toughest of foes.
  5. Moonveil – Katana
    Moonveil is a weapon which is frowned upon by the Souls community, simply because of how overpowered it is.
    The speed at which this weapon does magic damage is crazy. It does little to no FP loss with the use of its weapon skill; Transient Moonlight. It’s such a fast attack, that you can keep using it. Not to mention, Moonveil is great at dishing out a ton of blood loss as well, and its base damage is quite high by default. It scales incredibly well with Intelligence, Dexterity and Strength.
    If you’re in Caelid and stumble upon the Magma Wyrm, then consider fighting it until you win. It might just get you Moonveil, the best weapon in the game.
